Installing OpenOffice 3 on Ubuntu

Ubuntu 8.10 is out but it does not include the latest and the greatest OpenOffice 3.0 release.
You can either download the packages manually or do it the easier way.
What you need is to go to System > Administration > Software Sources.
Here you need to go to: Third Party Software
Click on Add: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/ubuntu intrepid main
And click on Add Source.
This would add OpenOffice sources to your Ubuntu installation.
Close the Software Sources window. It would ask you to update the information. Once that is done, Ubuntu would ask you to update your OpenOffice installation!
It’s really that easy!
