Google Wave allows you to cross-link different waves.

You can drag a wave from the inbox or any other search panel to a different wave to create a link.

This makes it easy to collaborate using different waves.

One thing to note. Users connected to the parent wave would not get automatically connected to the linked wave. They need to be participants in both.

A lot of third party services are now available that makes Google Wave much more powerful.

Tweety is one such service which makes it possible for you to tweet right from inside Google Wave.

All you need is to add a new contact: tweety-wave@appspot.com to your Google Wave account.

Start a new Wave and add this bot to it.

It would start the authentication process. Complete it. And you can now using Google Wave to Tweet!

Google Wave team has posted another short video showcasing a handy keyboard shortcut to navigate through the waves.

You can go through all the messages in a wave by using the space bar key.

Google has not released their Tasks web application as a standalone product.

It is accessible through their other products like Gmail, Calendar and iGoogle.

However, you can still use it independently by accessing a link that opens it independently.

I have been playing around with Google Wave for a couple of days now.

It was pretty irritating to use the mouse to open up a new message box and to save the message.

Google Wave team has just posted a video highlighting a very useful tip… Shift+Enter!

Shift+Enter key combination can be used to open a new message box in a wave. You can use the same to save the message as well! Pretty handy.

Google has not provided a specific button to embed YouTube hosted videos on Google Wave.

But they have a cool trick if you want to embed a YouTube video in a wave conversation.

Insert the link of the video to be embedded.

Google Wave would identify the link and would provide a bulb icon at the end.

You can click on this button to embed the video instead of just inserting the link.
